Tanks, Tariffs, and Touchdowns

Pop quiz: What do Dayton (TX), Houston, Providence, New Orleans, Barnesville (PA), Blytheville (AR), Tampa, Richmond (VA) and Springfield (MA) have in common?  Come on…that’s easy, they are all terminal facilities with available capacity that are presently listed with The Tank Tiger.  In fact, there are over 120 facilities presently listed with The Tank Tiger that are actively looking for customers. But wait…that’s not all. This is just the tip of the iceberg. The Tank Tiger has hundreds of facilities listed on our peer to peer platform and there are hundreds more locations that are in our “bullpen” waiting for someone to call on them to make the save. We are your one stop shop when it comes to securing available storage for your terminal needs. Our service is free for you to use, if you’re seeking storage. This isn’t a Black Friday sale and it isn’t Giving Tuesday. The Tank Tiger is available 24/7/365 to make the match and do the legwork so you don’t have to. So come on and take a free ride.

The inflation numbers came in last week slightly smoldering. With people starting to add the word tariff to their daily vocabulary, it’s not quite certain that the Fed has found the solution to put the brakes on price increases. Consumer spending thus far this holiday season has been very strong. A hidden variable will be unveiled this week when the jobs report numbers come out.   Meanwhile, across the pond, all eyes are on tomorrow’s OPEC+ meeting. The meeting was rescheduled from Sunday because apparently a few members were unhappy that the caterer had selected Hoagie Haven for the lunch menu. One member, however, expressed disappointment, claiming that he was really looking forward to a Sanchez and a Phat Lady.  Oh well, you can’t go wrong with Lebne and Lachmajun either. On tomorrow’s business menu is pending discussion of postponing its oil output hike. due to start in January, for the first quarter of 2025. A slowdown in global demand and rising output outside the group have been a fly in the ointment for oil price support. Faced with that reality, a senior executive at a major integrated oil company was quoted, “I don’t think we’re going to see anybody in the drill, baby, drill mode. I really don’t.” It’s all about the Benjamins. Yes indeed. Let’s go fly a kite.

How exciting was it to finally see the Longhorns square up against the Aggies at Kyle Field on Saturday night. We wonder how many quatloos changed hands at all of the oil industry water coolers in the days preceding the contest? What could be a better Lone Star State tradition than seeing an Armenian and a Penn Grad leading the charges on opposing sidelines.  It was a hard fought, hard hitting game with old school defense taking the lead. At the end of the day, Bevo burgers were not served. Hook ‘em.
